The majority of the lakes of the Middle Atlas are concentrated in the geographical area of Beni Mellal-Khénifra-Ifrane corresponding to the average atlassic causse.
Of which 4 lake are not very far from Fez, but also accessible, this one day tour includes a visit to :
Lake Aoua was the largest lake in the region but because of climate change the lake almost dried up.
The lake Iffer which is a mountain lake within the green oak forest.
Ifrah lake It is one of the largest lakes in the region, with an estimated area of 250 ha.
Lake Hachlaf Located in the Ifrane National Park, at an altitude of 1,530 m, its surface varies according to the seasons.
